Who operates the archive
Annual Report Archive at annualreport.gallery, including its plugin and MCP tools, is operated by Airfoil Ventures Singapore Pte. Ltd. (Singapore UEN 202143297N). In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean that company.
For privacy enquiries and requests, contact support@airfoil.sg. This policy covers our service. Your AI app and any source archive you visit have their own privacy policies.
Information we use
- Search and tool inputs. We process the search text, filters, cover IDs, and other tool arguments sent to the service so we can return relevant covers and records.
- Technical request data. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP addresses, request URLs, timestamps, browser or client details, and diagnostic information. Website search text is sent in a request URL and may appear in hosting logs.
- Website analytics. Vercel Web Analytics provides traffic statistics, including pages visited, referring sites, approximate location, and browser and device type. Vercel describes this service as using aggregated data and no analytics cookies. See Vercel’s analytics privacy documentation.
- Support messages. If you contact us, we receive your email address, message, and any information or attachments you choose to send. We use them to handle your enquiry and keep an appropriate record of the response.
The archive does not require an account. Its tools search and retrieve public cover records; they do not request access to your files, contacts, or payment details.
How search queries are processed
For semantic search, we send the search text to Google’s Gemini API. Google converts it into a numerical representation, which our service compares with the archive’s cover index. The returned covers come from that index.
We access Gemini through a Google Cloud project with active billing. Under Google’s paid-service terms, Google does not use submitted queries or responses to improve its products. Google logs API inputs and outputs for a limited period for abuse detection, safety and security, and required legal or regulatory disclosures. Please do not include personal, sensitive, or confidential information in a cover search.
Looking up a cover by ID, listing filters, and finding covers similar to an existing cover use the archive’s stored records and index. These operations do not send a new search query to Gemini.
Using the plugin or an AI app
When your AI app calls an archive tool, we receive the arguments it sends and return results to that app. We do not automatically receive the rest of your conversation, but anything the app places in a search query is received and processed as described above.
Your AI app may keep its own conversation and tool history. Manage that information through the app’s settings and privacy controls. Opening an external source scan also sends a request to the source website, whose own policies apply.
Why information is used and shared
We use information to provide search and browsing, answer support and rights enquiries, understand website usage, diagnose errors, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. We use service providers for hosting, search processing, analytics, and email delivery for those purposes.
We may disclose information when required by law or where necessary and permitted by law to investigate abuse or protect rights and security. We do not operate an advertising network or offer visitor information for sale.
Our service providers may process information outside Singapore. Overseas transfers of personal data are subject to the protections required by applicable law, including Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act where it applies.
Browser storage and retention
The website saves your light or dark theme preference in your browser’s local storage under arTheme. It remains there until you change it or clear the site’s browser data. This preference is not an archive account.
The archive application does not create a persistent search-history database. Hosting logs, Google’s API processing, analytics, and support correspondence have separate retention arrangements; this does not mean every copy of a request is immediately deleted.
Personal data we control is retained for as long as needed for the purposes described here or for applicable legal and business requirements, and is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed. Provider-held data is also subject to the provider’s applicable terms and retention settings.
Your choices and requests
You can browse covers without submitting a semantic search, disconnect the archive from your AI app, and clear its local browser storage. If you contact us, send only the information needed to explain the issue.
You may contact support@airfoil.sg to request access to or correction of personal data, withdraw consent, ask about deletion, or raise a privacy concern. Your rights and any exceptions depend on applicable law. We may need information to verify and locate your request, and will explain if a request cannot be fulfilled or would affect our ability to provide a service.
If a privacy concern remains unresolved, you may contact the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore or the appropriate authority in your jurisdiction.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest version. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or seek consent for a change.
